Mutton Bustin!

For those unfamiliar with the Mutton Bustin’ event, you have to see it first hand to appreciate it. Kids ages five to seven and 55 pounds or lighter are eligible to compete. Each contestant is judged upon the skill demonstrated as he or she attempts to stay aboard a sheep for the required six seconds. Kids are outfitted with protective head gear and will receive assistance from event organizers as well as the one parent that is allowed to accompany them.
